Electric Disconnects & Breakers

A circuit breaker is an automatically-operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to detect a fault condition and, by interrupting continuity, to immediately discontinue electrical flow.

• The ABB SwitchLine’s compact dimensions allow panel size reduction in new applications or easily retrofit into space-sensitive existing installations.
• Allen Bradly's UL489 Circuit Breakers provide a variety of product configurations by offering current ranges of 10A to 100A and 120/240V AC or 240V AC control. The 1492-MC DIN Rail-mounted circuit breakers are either 1/2" or 1" wide.
• The Square D exclusive Qwik-Open protection is standard on all 15 A and 20 A circuit breakers trip reaction within 1/60th of a second. No other circuit breaker trips faster.
